PaintingOur two primary methods for repainting all remanufactured goods include a powder coat and wet paint process. All paints, whether wet or powder, are computer matched by Sherwin Williams for color and gloss correctness to meet OEM specifications. Powder Coat ProcessNew for 1999 is our 2.5 million BTU powder coat production line. Aside from being the most environmentally friendly paint process available today, the inherent benefits of the powder coat process are immense. Most significant is the efficiency and durability gained with this process. The powder coat process only takes 40 minutes from the actual application of the paint to the packaging of the completed product. In addition, the powder coat finish is the hardest finish currently available for new or used office furniture. Evolution Interiors uses only Powduraâ powder coat paint by Sherwin Williams. Wet PaintDue to size restrictions certain refurbished products cannot be remanufactured utilizing a powder coat process. In these instances. We use Sherwin Williams Proleneâ catalyzed goods, the highest quality wet paint available in the market today. Compared with the powder coat process, wet painting with Sherwin Williams catalyzed Proleneâ paint offers many of the same benefits, including high environmental ratings and long lasting durability. |
